  Modern Spey Casting.

Roll-Cast, Jump Roll-Cast, Single-Spey,
Double-Spey, Snake-Roll and Snap-Casts.

Traditional-Spey, Shooting-Head and
Skagit Casting.

Spey Casting is various casts you can do when you have limited back-space that prohibits you doing the Over-Head cast. All the casts above can be used in different situations that will help you fish as much of the river as possible and give you more chance to hook that silver tourist.
Depending on the area you are going to fish determines
what outfit you will need whether it's a Traditional, Shooting-Head or Skagit.

From beginners to experienced anglers I can make your fishing trip more enjoyable.

All fishing equipment can be supplied.

Tuition.

Fly fishing is an art, to be able to cast a line with the minimum of effort is a real joy, and the ability to cast a fly with accuracy with good presentation adds pleasure to your fishing day.

When fishing a river adverse weather conditions can cause problems causing you frustration spoiling your day unless you have the knowledge and skills to adapt to the conditions a qualified casting instructor can demonstrate and teach casting methods to overcome these problems.

Sessions can be arranged for individuals or groups if required.

Not only given tuition on the Tyne's, but it may also be possible to travel to other waters of your choice.

All sessions are a minimum of three hours up to eight hours and be tailored to suit the needs and requirements of the individual or group.

I consider it essential to first explain fishing etiquette involving other fellow anglers and also respect for the environment so we can all enjoy this beautiful countryside and its abundance of wildlife.

From complete beginners to more advanced anglers who want to expand their skills.

Sessions for beginners include advice on safety, setting up tackle, knots and basic casting techniques.

For those more experienced, improving your casting technique, e.g., windy conditions, anchor positing changing direction casts.

I am available to do demonstrations in your area.
